His sales experience includes life insurance sales and radio station account executive. His teaching experience includes ten years as a physical education and math teacher for the Vancouver School Board and junior high PE teacher for the Abbotsford School District. His coaching experience includes coaching several national volleyball teams winning five consecutive national championships. His public appearances include professional speaking through CanSpeak and television commentating for CTV at the '92 Olympics. He also had a show called "Catch the Spirit '94" leading up to the Commonwealth Games in 1994. He worked for eleven years with BC Sport and Recreation as a Sport Consultant, Manager Coaching, Manager Canada Games and manager of BC's Best Ever program, which put him in touch with every BC Olympic athlete and coach over a four-year period. His achievements include helping place BC athletes on the '88 Olympic teams (Summer and Winter), establishing a strong foundation for current BC coaching systems and creating strong planning foundation for all sports that he worked with. Vic was co-founder of the BC Best Ever hockey program and for several years attended as a mental skills trainer. In addition, Vic has a level 4 Volleyball Coaching Certification and Level 1 and 2 NCCP Theory Course Conductor. He has refereed National Volleyball competitions and has been the course conductor of Skills Management for Volunteers time management program. He has conducted numerous sales courses, is a Performax certified instructor and is a member of the Toastmaster International Hall of Fame as well as a finalist in the Toastmasters world championships. He has also been a National Volleyball coach and TV commentator at four Olympic Games. Email |
