Players line up in 2 lines on opposite sides at the blue line, and 2 lines on opposite sides at centre. To start the drill one player lines up inside the blue line with a puck and takes a shot on the whistle. Shooter then skates into the corner to pick up a puck and makes a breakout pass to the player at the blue line who has curled to the centre of the ice. He then makes a pass to the player at centre who has curled towards the boards. He then goes in for a shot before picking up a puck and continuing the drill.
TIP: Players should not curl immediately after shot. They need to assure they time it so they receive a smooth pass in which they are almost parralel to their partner.
