Types of Franchise Agreements Available

Puckmasters awards two types of franchises:

  1. Franchise Agreements
A candidate is awarded a single territory and the right to open one Hockey Training Center in that territory. Each exclusive territory must have a minimum of 1000 youth hockey registrants. The total investment for the Hockey Training Center and the individual territory is $130,000 - $380,000 (including our $30,000 franchise fee; costs will vary according to rink size and equipment ordered).
  2. Area Development Agreements
A candidate is awarded multiple territories with the right to develop these territories over a period of time. Typically the rights are granted to a large urban area, entire state, or province. Area Development Agreements are a minimum of four territories in size. The total investment varies depending on the total number of territories awarded in the exclusive Area Development Agreement. The franchise fees, for example, for a candidate that is awarded a five unit Area Development Agreement would be a total of $150,000 (five units at $30,000 each). Puckmasters can provide some degree of financing for this fee.
