Right off the floor from the hockey hall of fame in Canada comes the most amazing technology to help improve each shooter gain the edge needed to score more goals. Players use real hockey pucks to test their skill against real-life goaltenders. The cool, lightning fast movements, combined with the extraordinary special effects make RealHockey™ a first class simulation.
The player/user is the shooter in a one-on-one scenario against the goaltender. The shooter shoots on a "live" goaltender. The object of this hockey simulation is to score as many goals on in the session as possible. The more accurate and higher the velocity of the shot, the more likely the player/user is to score.
The projected image size of both the hockey simulator goaltender and the goaltender's net are real size. That is, the hockey simulator net measures six feet long by four feet high. As well the hockey simulator goaltender is real size and appears just as he would if they were standing in front of you on a hockey rink. This sets the stage for real shooting practice.
Using a unique combination of video and animation processes, the hockey simulator goaltender reacts just as real goaltender would with 64 (scalable to 256) unique save movements. Each save movement is unique based on the location and type of shot.
We have used unique software algorithms to determine whether the result of a shot should be a save or a goal. The determination is based on the skill level of the hockey simulator goaltender selected, and the player's own skill level (i.e. shot velocity and accuracy). We have also made each hockey simulator goaltender customizable. That is, the user can create or modify each hockey simulator goaltender so that they react differently to different shots. (e.g. one goaltender may have a weaker glove hand then another, another goaltender may be more susceptible to low shots, etc). These are called hockey simulator goaltender personalities.
The RealHockey™ hockey simulator software also comes with random target shooting module. This tests the player/user's ability to hit different targets within the net.
Players pitch to intimidating batters in a simulated game environment. Strikeout and brush back the batters...but make sure they don't take you deep! A built in speed gun tells the players how fast they are pitching. For more details on this products please contact us.
