Camp Descriptions

Hockey 101 (Skill Builder)

Designed for the beginner to intermediate player of all ages, Hockey 101 will cover all of the basics: Skating, Passing, Puck Control, Shooting, and "Ice Sense", as well as introduce players to dryland (off ice) training concepts, nutrition, and mental preparation.
 
Heavy emphasis will be placed on building solid foundations upon which to build and develop skills.  
 

Elite Hockey Academy

This camp is intended only for the advanced (AAA/Tier 1) or Junior level player.  In addition to reinforcing a solid core and foundation, players will be challenged with advanced skating techniques, puck control, and situational theory.   
 
Availabilty for this camp is extremely limited.
 

Goaltending School

Designed for the beginning to intermediate goaltender, our Goaltending School will address all of the basics:  Stance, movement, agility, basic and advanced butterfly technique, glove and blocker saves, pad saves, puck handling, playing the angles, and situational playing.
 
Players will be introduced to off-ice training systems, and nutrition.
 
This camp is open to players of all age groups and skill levels.
 

Elite Goaltending Academy

This camp is intended only for the advanced (AAA) or Junior level goaltender.  In addition to developing a solid core and foundation, players will be introduced to advanced goaltending techniques and theory and cutting edge instruction from some of the leaders in goaltender training.
 
Space for this camp is extremely limited.  Submit applications with coach recommendation via email for consideration.
 

Defense

A more in-depth version of our weekly defenseman clinics -- develop your passing, stickhandling, skating, and shooting skills. Raise your game to a new level by learning when to jump into the rush and master point shots and passing techniques.  This program will quicken your feet, speed up your stride, and turn you into a Blue-Line monster.  Become the badly sought after two-dimensional defenseman that all Head Coaches dream of.   
 
We will cover every aspect of defensive play:  specialty skating, strength and power, checking, manning the point, one on one and 2 on one strategy, shot blocking, odd man situations and much more.
 
If you're a defenseman, this is one camp you simply cannot skip.
 

Crash Courses

Whoa ... tryouts are Next Week ??  Yikes, where did the summer go?  Don't worry, you're not alone.   More importantly, we're here to help.  Our crash courses are specifically designed to help get you back into "hockey shape", regain your stride, remember your moves, and dial in that shot before you head off to tryouts.   It's probably the hardest you'll ever work in such a short time, and you'll love every minute of it. 
 
Take one or both sessions to tune up for tryouts.
 

Summer Ultimate Conditioning

Keep in shape all summer long, breeze through tryouts, and hit the ice at full speed this upcoming season.   The Puckmasters Ultimate Conditioning Program runs 3 times each week, 1.5 hours each session.   30 Minutes on-ice, 1 Hour off ice.    The on-ice program is primarily overspeed, anaerobic, and fundamental.   Off-Ice, we'll be working on core and upper body strength, balance, and aerobic conditioning.
 
The Conditioning Program runs daily: Groups meet on either M/W/F or Tu/Th/Sa.   Programs run from 8:30am - 10:00am, 2:30pm - 4:00pm, and 7:00pm - 8:30pm
